FOCUS - Reorganize and introduce grandure
The front garden can easily become bland and dated and lack a modern approach to the entryway, and become bland, dated and unwelcoming.
With a few simple, clever, and affordable design principles, a front garden can be created to reflect modern lifestyles while offering a functional and attractive appearance that elevates the home’s presence.
Highlights
Project Brief
The existing driveway was expansive and lacked definition and character, with overgrown hedges that obscured the home’s facade and a tired garden path leading to the front door.
The client wanted a front entrance that would introduce curb appeal and celebrate the entrance of the remodelled space.

The Result
Concept Design & 3D Visualisations
Using advanced 3D visualisations, we provided the homeowner with an immersive preview of the potential transformation, allowing for a shared vision that brought their aspirations to life.
Creating a Grand Entrance
We understand that the entrance of a home sets the tone for the entire property. To elevate this, we introduced symmetry and clean lines to guide visitors to the front door, a principle that enhances the architectural grandeur of the property.
Curb Appeal through Landscaping
Our redesign strategically placed topiary and soft plantings to frame the home’s entrance, providing a green contrast to the hardscaping without overwhelming the space, adhering to our principle of ‘less is more’.
Sustainable Driveway Solution
The new driveway pavers area is aesthetically pleasing and permeable, aligning with sustainable design practices by allowing water to drain naturally, reducing runoff, and preventing flooding.
Accentuating the Architecture
We selected a simple planting scheme that accentuates the property’s natural beauty, demonstrating the principle of harmony between nature and built structures.
Integrated Lighting for Safety and Ambiance
Although not visible in the daylight, integrated lighting solutions were included to enhance safety, extend usability into the evening, and create a warm, inviting ambience.
Maximised Space Utilisation
We have adeptly maximised the frontage by balancing the need for parking with aesthetic greenery, optimising the space for both practical use and visual appeal, a principle crucial in front garden design.
